Instead of just materializing in the other pod that Adam had built, it didn't happen like that because Adam looked in to see his daughter. Only to find an empty pod, resulting in him literally stretching his head and saying, "huh...that can't be good."

Before running over to control panel for this whole contraption that he built, worked on it for years and years to get right, doing all that he possible could to make work for this very purpose. what he got for all his sweat, tears and hard work of not spending time with his family. This happened, he just might have lost his daughter Samantha, who he loved dearly to this....what he thought was a perfect invention.

Thinking of all those things, over and over in his head just about made him cry out of frustration. However, Adam held it together to try and sort out this mess he had created. Quickly he wiped a tear away and checked the data logs of the most recent teleport involving his daughter. As he scanned through it all, he couldn't find a single thing wrong, even the teleporters own checklist states that everything had processed correctly, "what the...this can't be right, she should have been in that pod right there." Adam says adjusting his glasses, so he could take a closer look at the data logs again.

Scrolling through every possible line of text, he still didn't see anything out of the ordinary. That is until he reached the 5 line of text from the bottom of it all to read,

Location:Upstairs Bathroom

"Why would it say that." He mumbles to himself. And stares a thing for a moment until his eyes get big and his mouth opens as he looks up for a brief moment remembering the settings. Of all the things he checked, he forgot to check the settings. Quickly, Adam changed over to the settings and found,

Location:

Clocking on the tab, it brings him to page of various settings he had chosen to be there for different tests. Looking through them, he sees the one that is checked and highlighted is,

The Location is Based on the Subjects Thoughts

Staring at it intently for a moment he remembers why he put that in there, he just doesn't know why he forgot to change it, "god! How stupid am I." He says loudly to himself, before changing that setting to,

Location:Secondary Pod

With that changed, he then wonders why Samantha would thinking of the Upstairs Bathroom at that time, so being caring father that he is. He quickly turns the monitor off and heads upstairs out of the basement, running upstairs to the bathroom to check on Samantha. Once he reached the door he found it locked, and knocked hard on the door, "hold on, I'll be a minute." He hears his son Jeff answer.

"Ahhh....is Sam in there with you?" Adam asks

"Ummm....yeah, why?" Jeff asked in a confused tone of voice.

"Just unlock the door." Adam almost yells back, reluctantly Jeff unlocks the door and opens for Adam to see....
