Chapter #3

Nothing happens

Just when she should be disappearing nothing happens. The machine hits an error and shuts down. You start frantically going over everything. “It should have worked”, you mumble. Samantha steps out and says, “Well at least it didn’t kill me”. She then goes about her business and heads back upstairs. After an hour going over everything you discover a fuse blown on the particle assembler. You slap yourself in the head for not finding it earlier. “Ok, ready to go again”, you say out loud.

Anxious to get going you decide to test it on yourself this time. You set the time delay and hit the resume button. You shut the door to the pod as the machine warms up. There is a bright flash and you then find yourself….
