"Now what?" Jack was frustrated. Sometimes his mother was such a pain. Like Jack and Sam were going to go to the park and play tennis or basket ball, He smiled at the thought of Sam on the courts. Sam got out of breath walking across the room and even that small exertion set his big belly quivering. He wasn't sure that Sam could run even it he wanted to,
As if reading Jack's mind, Sam shrugged his fleshy shoulders which set off a chain reaction,
"You ready to shoot a few hoops?"
"Not today thank you very much. Got any better ideas?"
Actually Jack did have a better idea and he was sure that Sam would agree.
"Lets go over to the mall. We can use the wi-fi and when we get hungry, there are all those choices. What about it?"
Sam agreed and the two boys started walking to the mall, Neither boy was in shape but at three times his weight, Sam was winded and panting after two blocks.
"I can't do this," he complained. "I'm calling a cab."
Sam's parents were busy doctors who worked long hours and indulged their son with a big allowance.
The cab unloaded the boys at the mall. The ride had given Sam time to get his breath back but once in the mall, he set his sights on the food court.
"Gotta get something to eat first and then we can play. I'm starving."
Jack agreed. He wasn't starving but his Dad kept telling him that a growing boy needed to eat.
