They’re not friendly

As Max gets ready to say something he finds himself pinned by several hungry flares. A younger looking monster begins to walk over to him while staring directly into Max’s eyes. Max tries to move or make a sound but finds himself completely paralyzed. The man looks to be in his late teens with a pair of horns protruding from his head, a wirey tail twitching behind him. His red eyes seem to glow and as he licks his lips Max spots the fangs in his mouth. The man smiles and reaches towards him
