See For Yourself!

"Wait... you believe me?" Laura asked.

"Well... I'm curious...I mean, as long as your willing to go back and let me see..." Dave responded.

"Fine. Just fine." Laura said, nodding.

Dave turned the car around in the parking lot of a local pancake restaurant and headed toward Laura's house. Once they were out of the car, she lead the way up to her room, opened the door, and pointed to the flower. "Well... there it is. Careful not to get too close! I don't know what'll do to you!"

Dave walked up to the flower and examined it. It was undeniably the strangest flower he ever saw. While he had seen several flowers that had more than one color, he had never seen one with all seven colors of the rainbow. Its plumage was highly unusual too, like nothing he'd seen before. His interest was piqued. He had to look closer... closer... too close.

"AHCHOO!" Dave sneezed the instant his face touched the flower's petals, causing Laura to run over to him. "Oh my god, Dave! Are you okay?"

Well, is he?
