As Laura opened her eyes and examined her boy, she felt a weird weight around her hands, as if gravity was suddenly much heavier on them. She found herself struggling just to get them from touching the ground just then, slowly walking over to the mirror to see what was the reason for this awkward feeling. And when she found out what it was, she wasn't pleased by it..
Laura's hands had grown to 6 times their original size! They were so big and bulky now she couldn't lift them more than a few inches off the ground. As for lifting doors..forget it. Even if she could reach the doors, her gigantic hands would make opening them a struggle anyway. She also couldn't reach her drawer to get her cell phone, so she couldn't even call someone regarding this situation.
Left with no other choices, Laura sat on the floor on her bedroom in an odd pose and waited for something good to happen as she took a nap on the floor.
