"No offense, sis," you tell Leslie. "But I was kinda thinking about calling up my buddy Joe. Maybe he and I could put together a good two-person costume."

Leslie rolls her eyes.

"You and Joe are so immature when the two of you get together," she snorts. "You'll just come up with something stupid. Oh, well ... see you at the party!"

Fine, you think. Let Leslie be in a bit of a huff. You'll have more fun without being joined at the hip to her all night long.

You call up Joe on the phone and ask his opinion.

"Sure, Bob!" says Joe. "I've even got the BEST idea for a costume."
