It worked - You are now your mom and she is you

You opened your eyes and were assaulted with what seemed to be a thousand foreign sensations. The first of which was the feeling of air on your exposed skin. You were wearing your mom's sleeveless blue sundress which left your arms and legs quite bear. The machine worked. You were now a 32 year old woman.
Next you noticed some strands of red hair in your eyes. You reached up and felt your mother's bangs on her forehead. You ran your fingers through her long thick hair. It went down past her shoulders. You gave it a tug, just to make sure you weren't dreaming.
Next you looked at your hands. Your skin was lighter toned. Your fingers were long and slender. Your nails were painted a bright red. On your left hand, you saw your mother's wedding ring.
Your new hands didn't keep your attention for long as soon your eyes were drawn to the two large, cream-colored, mounds on your chest. You cupped them in your hands and gave them a squeeze watching them shift and move under the fabric of your sundress. Keeping your hands on your chest, you looked down at the rest of your body. Your wide hips, your slender, smooth, legs and your tiny sandaled feet with toenails that matched your fingers.
Suddenly the pod door swung open and you saw your old body grinning at you.
"Daryl! It worked! We've switched bodies!"
You quickly tore your hands away from your chest and put them awkwardly by your side
"Haha" your mom laughed "I see you're wasting no time getting acquainted with your new assets. They're technically yours now, so you can do what you want with them. I told you you'd enjoy being a women" she winked.
You took your first steps out of the pod and realized just how different this body was. Your hips now swayed. Your breasts bounced up and down. It really was an incredibly strange feeling.
"So...what do we do now?" you said, hearing your new feminine voice for the first time.
"Well," your mom replied "If I remember correctly, you agreed to finish doing the dishes. I think we should spend a few hours taking our respective bodies for a test drive."
"A few hours? I thought we were just going to see if it works..."
"Oh come on, where's the fun it that?" your mom asked "You could learn a thing or two from being in my body for a day. Plus, I saw you feeling yourself up...don't tell me you didn't enjoy that"
You did have to admit that all the new sensations were rather intoxicating.
"Fine" you agreed "but what are we going to do about the rest of the family? Am I supposed to just pretend to be you?"
"While it would be fun to fool everybody, it might also be fun to tell the family about this machine. Maybe we could switch your Dad with Katy or Tara." your mom giggled. "What do you think?"
