Magic Pizza?

"Patches! Get away from there!" I yelled, trying to stop him from digging and rolling in whatever dead thing he had found. I ran over to pick him up, when I saw something I had never seen before in my life. An entire field of mushrooms! "Woah, these look delicious!" I said, "I bet these mushrooms'll taste great on that leftover pizza back at the house."
After picking a few mushrooms and cleaning up after Patches' "Business", I went back to the house and chopped up the 'shrooms and put them on the pizza. I put the pizza in the oven to warm it up, when I heard the doorbell ring. I dashed to the front door to open it, and saw Claudia waiting on my doorstep.
"Hey, come on in." I said smoothly, "I'm making pizza, you want some?
"Sure, why not?" Claudia said.
I pulled the pizza out of the oven, and got out the pizza cutter, cutting a slice for me and Claudia, unknowing that the mushrooms that I had picked were poisonous, and eating them would have strange side effects.
