Oddly enough, her stomach began to cramp up like she hadn't eaten in days.
"Well... I can't tackle this crisis on an empty tummy, now can I?" she reasoned. "I bet I can think of something once I've put some food in me... "
She realized that, although she couldn't get the money out of her pockets, there still were plenty of snacks in the vending machine. And here she was, much taller and fatter than before, but moving around without too much difficulty. So her strength must've increased as well.
Without another thought, she rammed an elbow up against the glass of the snack machine. It shattered easily.
"Snack time," she smiled to herself.
The candy bars certainly helped quell the hunger in her tummy, but they were also quite tasty. Must've been a fresh delivery. And come to think of it, leaving the wrappers on the snacks didn't change the taste too much.
And before she knew it, Brenda's belly was full of everything the vending machine had to offer.
"Ah, that's better. Now what to do about my size..."
