Chapter #3

Go about business as usual with no plans to eat...

    by: Unknown
(Nah,) Vince thought, (I'm fine the way I am.)
He noticed, though, that his father began pressing him into eating seconds. At first, Vince refused, and it would make his father mad. To the point where he would not want to speak to Vince for the rest of the day, or night depending on the meal. But then, Dad was also slowly increasing Vince's portions, until Vince was eating double of what he was two months ago. So, without Vince really noticing, he was eating "seconds" without being asked.
It wasn't until Dad accidentally let slip a comment about Vince that he got suspicious. They were sitting at the table, having just finished a nice meal.
"Boy, you sure ate a bunch there, huh? Ha hah, Vince, my young MAN..."
Vince had smiled slightly and nodded, hiding his true confusion. He cleaned up his place and then headed to the bathroom where the scale was, and the mirror. He remembered how much he weighed: 130 pounds.
