A Tale of Swords and Souls, Eternally Retold

Kirby was minding his own business, sleeping under his favorite tree in Dreamland, when a piece of metal came flying out of the sky. It landed on Kirby and Kirby picked it up. He looked at it curiously and discarded it, seeing that it wasn't food. Soon a raven came out of some murky looking shadows that suddenly appeared and grabbed the piece and flew back into the shadows. Kirby, being the curious one he was, ran after the raven and entered the shadows. His friend Meta Knight soon followed him, thinking that this won't end well. Kirby soon found himself in a new world, not sure where he was. Meta Knight was right behind him and he flew after the raven with the metal. Kirby tried to run after them, but he got caught up in a fight.

Sophita was fighting Nightmare, as he was trying to restruct Soul Edge, the demonic blade. She was holding up a good fight as a pink puffball came out of nowhere and the two accidently hit it. They sent it flying and Sophita ran after it. Nightmare was standing there, thinking of what to make of this. Sophita picked it up and held it in her arms.
She asked, "Are you alright, little puff creature?"
Kirby's eyes were spinning and dazed for a moment and it got back up and started to run after Meta Knight again. Nightmare, seeing the raven being chased by Meta Knight, knew what he was after and instead pursued after Meta Knight.

Who got to the Raven first? Meta Knight and Kirby, or Nightmare and someone else?
