Hey there; my name is Cire Magi. I am the youngest of three kids in my family with an older brother, Sirius, and an older sister, Zoe. They're twins, both thirteen. My mom and dad are always busy with some project, either apart or together but they still find time for the three of us. Sirius and Zoe are a bit weird, fighting over the strangest things such as herbs and who knows what kind of gadgets....
To the point, my entire world turned upside down on my eighth birthday. I had just stepped out of the shower that morning and felt as if something was missing. I looked down and discovered a very important thing was missing, I had somehow turned into a girl! The high pitched scream that echoed from my throat would have cracked windows if I had not fainted.
When I woke up, I found myself sitting on a couch, wearing a pink dress! I screamed again but someone touched my shoulder and I turned to find my mother and sister there, both grinning at me. "Easy, Cire." cooing me, mom said. "Take a deep breath so we can explain what is going on."
Another hand touched my other shoulder and I turned the other way to find dad and brother, also grinning, though their grin seemed a bit more sad. "Compose yourself, son." softly, dad said. "There is much for us to discuss regarding your current situation."
I took a breath, though it did not help much and mom began. "First off, I am a witch." summoning a bright blue flame to her hand, mom said. "Zoe is a witch as well, we command the powers of magic."
"Sirius and I are both mad scientists, we command the powers of chaotic energy." summoning a bright green flame to his hand. "We are the pinnacle of technology, the masters of the future."
"Drama king." snorting, mom said. she then turned back to me. "You, my dearest daughter, have the benefit of carrying a potential for both powers."
"However, the mixing of two 'magics' is very dangerous." serious, dad added. "You, my gender confused son, must choose which power you wish to become a master of." he then smiled. "Old school magic or new and exciting mad science."
"Excuse me, dear..." throwing dad a dagger look, mom asked. "Old school...?"
"You basically tip the balance in this household, Cire." looking at you, Zoe said. "Only none of us can force the decision you must make." she then smiled. "You must admit, though, you make a very cute girl."
I blushed brightly at Zoe's attempt at a compliment then turned to Sirius as he spoke. "The decision must be of your own free will." serious, he said. then he too smiled. "You were born a boy, it is what you are used to seeing in the mirror every day. Why make your life complicated."
The four then fell into a 'polite' argument, forcing me to cover my ears. "Happy birthday, Cire." sarcastically, I thought. "Your present is a major headache."
What am I to do?
