You gather your reamining courage and try to face what is being offered to you. It takes little time to make the decision. You stand up and say "OK. Lets go."
You stand as a group and walk to the taxi. You realize that while it does have a bright yellow paint job, it has no phone numbers or otherwise identifiable features.
Once inside, you can see the windows are just as dark, not letting you see where you are going. Steve puts the opened envelope through a slot in the front seats and after a puase, the taxi departs. You feel the driver turn north at the light but a series of turns, stops and lane changes leave you unable to guess where you might be in the city. After 15 minutes, the driver stops, and idles. A sharp tap of the black glass partition gives you pause.
Karen says "You last chance to get out. You are on a busy street where no one will noctice one more person getting out of a taxi. If you call the authorities, they won't find this car in the dozens that are here."
