Megaman saw the 3 koopalings carrying a big box out of a storage room that said unauthorized access. Did they break in? Surely that was against the rules. Megaman wondered if he should confront them or report this to Mario and the others but one of the siblings noticed him first.
"We have company"
"Don't let him get away, attack him!"
"Hey, what are you doing?" Megaman saw the koopaling with sky blue hair summon a fireball from his orange wand and managed to dash away in time. The decision made for him, Megaman shot back not only at Larry but also at the other two to make sure they dropped the box.
"We can't let him hit the box!"
"Morton, take it with you and we will take care of this guy" The female koopaling said grabbing a couple of things from the box and attacking back while Megaman tried to dash past Larry.
"What's in that box?" Megaman asked while charging his mega buster.
"It's none of your business, go back to your room"
"Careful, he's charging an attack!" Wendy warned just in time and Larry managed to shield just before the mega buster shot sent him crashing against a wall.
"Of course it is my business. If you get disqualified for this I have better chances to make it" Megaman dodged Wendy's attack and continued handling his own in the unfair 2v1 battle against the 2 Koopalings. Morton already escaped with the box safely, but they knew if Megaman wasn't defeated he would just tell the others and all their effort would be for nothing. However, just as he showed against Knuckles, Megaman was proving to be a formidable enough opponent to overwhelm both of them.
"Why does he have so many attacks?" Larry complained "He might just win sis"
"Just distract him, I have a plan" Wendy said, preparing her secret weapon
Larry nodded and used his wand to summon a series of walking robots that exploded on contact and kept Megaman busy enough to not notice what Wendy was throwing at him.
"You will need more than that to.. gah-" Megaman's taunt was interrupted as something exploded on his back, something that strangely enough didn't feel like an explosive. It felt more like a flash of light that stunned him. When Megaman recovered, the Koopalings were nowhere in sight.
"Where did they go? I should chase them but.. I still feel a bit dazed" Megaman walked around the hall for a bit checking for some signs of the siblings but they successfully escaped. What was that attack? It was nothing like the fireballs and bombs they used before.
"What's this? Oh, yuck" He noticed something on the floor and picked a banana peel, thinking he should just put it in the trash, although maybe it would come useful too. Deciding to tell Mario and the others what he saw, he walked back to his room to rest.
