Jolyne stared in horror at what she saw inside the bird. A man, dismembered and beheaded was found inside. Was he there the whole time? When was he killed? How did he get so small?
These questions would have to wait as Jolyne noticed her surroundings. The man was no longer tiny and the prison was much bigger. “What happened to me? Did she use the pendent to give her this power?” Once again these questions would have to wait.
“So you’re the one who snatched my little Pi-chan!” Just then a giant hand grabbed at her from behind. As Jolyne looked up, her suspicions were confirmed. Her kidnapper was none other than Gwess. She marched the two of them over to their cell, singing a passionate tune, and chuckled Jolyne against the table.
“You know, jolyne, I’m really beginning to like you.” A devilish grin grew on our sadistic antagonists face as she thought about what she wanted to do to our poor heroine. “W-What’d you do to my body? Explain!” Gwess’ devilish grin shifted to a frown for a second. Maybe Jolyne would be a little harder to train. “Listen, Jolyne. Please don’t talk.” “But the prisoner inside the par-“ Jolyne’s insistence on finding answers was beginning to annoy her captor. “HEY, I said no talking!”
Gwess rummages through her things till she finds a cleaned out rat carcass. “Get in,” she demanded. Jolyne did as she was told and started putting new the makeshift rat outfit. “Now, earlier I said no talking, but if you can mimic a rat squeak or make a rat pun, I’ll let it slide. You could say ‘I’m hungry, squeak’ or ‘cheese to meet you’. Got it?”
Jolyne finally got on her rat suit. For some reason she was embarrassed just having it on. “Oh Jolyne, you look so cute in that! Im glad it fits.” The little newly made rodent started turning beet red. “Ch-cheese to… meet you…” She couldn’t believe she even said that. She buried her head in her hands so she wouldn’t have to face the world. Just then Gwess grabbed at her! “Shit, did I offend her?” Jolyne worried. Her worries would subside when Gwess started petting her. “SO CUUUUUUTTTEEE!!! Oh Jolyne, that was just adorable! My plan, with you, was gonna be to throw you into the hall over there and get you to pull the switch causing a mass prison escape… But you probably would’ve been the first one shot. I can’t let that happen now can I?” Gwess sat Jolyne down in a rat cage she got at the prison store. “Jolyne, this plans gonna have to wait till I get tired of you, but don’t worry cuz that won’t happen as long as you keep being so cute!”
Jolyne did certainly like her brain being in her head as opposed to all over the prison walls so she accepted the temporary role as Gwess’ pet. “Yes, squeak, master… I wuv chu.” Jolyne hated pretending to be a docile pet. Gwess, on the other hand, could hardly contain herself. She danced around her cell with joy at her new adorable pet.
“Oh Chorokichi, I’m so sorry you didn’t get breakfast. I’ll make sure to bring you a feast when lunch rolls along.”
“Chorokichi?”
“Yes, everything has a name. The word was with god, all things were created by the word. That is why I even named the power that’s affecting you. GooGoo Dolls, is what I decided to name it. Now lunchtime is starting soon so I’ll be first in line to get you something delicious!”
After a while Gwess would return with lunch. “Chorokichi! I hope you like strawberries. Here, I want you to eat the whole thing!”   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
