Then, Mr. Wright turned to the shy, Indian boy who was sitting next to her.
“Sudhir! Please escort Kristi to the bathroom and wait for her and then come back with her!” he ordered.
“Uhh… Yes, sir!” the boy said as he stood up and waited for her to get up from her chair.
At first, Kristi stood up and grumbled as she stumbled her wait out of the classroom. But, when she stood out in the abandoned hallway it dawned on her: She was alone, at school, in the hallway, with another boy! And, Sudhir had always been nice to her. He was a quiet but shy boy. He was about the same height as her, with chocolate brown skin and straight, jet black hair. He had brown eyes and he didn’t talk much. He always had a friendly expression on his face and he was always smiling in class.
“Umm… Are you okay?” Sudhir asked her as they walked to the girl’s bathroom.
“Oh, I’m just fine!” Kristi grinned, taking the opportunity to take a really good look at the shy, Indian boy. He was only wearing shorts and a t-shirt with tennis shoes. He was skinny and not very muscular.
“Please wait here as I use the bathroom, okay?” Kristi said as she opened the door to the girl’s bathroom. Sudhir just stood outside and guarded the door while Kristi went inside.
“Now, what should I do to my Indian friend?” Kristi grinned quietly as she thought for a moment before putting her plan into action…
