you head up to your new room and head to the closet, which was huge, jeez Jake was rich, you thought, but what would a rich brat wear... just then a shadow loomed over you.
you look up and see jake and he is picking out clothes for you to wear,
"joel, remember that this is daddy's big work dinner, i am only bringing you along because the most of the time you make girls attracted to me, strange yes i know, but be on your best behavior!"
he then hands you a white button up, a blue blazer and fine khaki colored shorts, white socks and polished black shoes. then he hands you Joel's best eye glasses.
"also, i want you to not mention your mother at all, unless someone directly asks you about it, i do not need you crying over...."
Jake walks away to his room, seemingly unable to cope with the talk of his dead wife.
you dress up and go out to see him in a fine black suit, you think about swapping with him, but realize you hardly have the brains to pull off the dinner. at least as an adult!
