Ivy was standing out side the JFL medical bay waiting for Harley to come out. Lately Harley has been getting sick in the morning and decided to see Batman in the medical bay about it. But Ivy was worried, "Harley had been in there for over an hour, what could possibly be taking so long? Does it have something to do with Chemical V or.... me?" Ivy thought to her self. The mere idea that the chemical's in her body were making her lover sick made her heart stop and her stomach turn. "Oh my God! What if Harley dies and it's all my fault? How could I go on?"
She was so raped up in her thoughts that Ivy failed to see a plump Harvey come bounding out of the medical bay with a smile that stretched from ear to ear. She grappled Ivy in a big hug and planted a big kiss on her lips.
"Red!" She said almost yelling. "I have amazing news!"
"What is it?" Replied Ivy glad to see that Harley wasn't dyeing.
"I give you a hint. For the next nine months I am going to be moody, horny,suffer from cravings and morning sickness, and I won't be able to drink any alcohol." Said Harley.
"Are you saying were going to have a baby?!" Said Ivy, her voice filled with excitement. Harley could only node in response, her eyes filled with tears of joy. "But how is that even possible?"
"I think I can explain." Said Batman who was watching the whole scene from the door way to the Med Bay. "From what the test show Harley became pregnant the same night you entered her womb for the first time. You being part plant and the chemical V somehow allowed a baby to form, it just took longer than normal for Harley to show signs of pregnancy. I will know more after I run some more tests."
"Thats great!" Exclaimed Ivy.
"There is one thing that is troubling me. Somehow the chemical V was preserving the Jokers DNA which got into the baby, and since we don't know what made the Joker insane..."
"We could be giving birth to a new Joker." Said Ivy, her blood becoming ice cold.
"Sweetie we don't know if our baby will turn into it's father, I believe in a loving environment any child can grow up to be a healthy, happy, and good nature adult." Said Harley.
"Your probably right." Said Ivy.
"I usually am.' Said Harley, then she planted a kiss on Ivy's lips.
