You easily snatch the raygun from Sarah, and take a close look at it. The top of it features a little screen and some knobs. The oversized text on the screen reads "MMRY FILL". Memory fill? That fits with what just happened. Your parents only remembered you after being hit with that beam.
"Sarah, what is this thing and what have you been doing with it?" you ask, wielding the gun threateningly, but without actually pointing it at her. You're angry and confused, but you're not about to risk hurting your little sister.
