"It's getting rather late for that," the dragon girl said nervously, "If I take you back to the town now I won't be able to make it back home before dark."
"You could stay with me and my family," the boy said.
"Is everyone in your family blind?" the dragon girl asked.
"No, just me." the boy said sighing.
"Then your family probably wouldn't be happy to see me," the dragon girl said sighing, "As soon as they see me with you they'll probably freak out and attack me just long enough to get you away from me before running."
"I'm sure they'll handle it better than that," the boy said.
"I'm not," the dragon girl sighed.
"Well then you can just lead me to your home and you can take me back tomorrow," the boy said walking towards the dragon girl and reaching out with his hand again, "Lead on."
"Follow my voice," the dragon girl said walking along back towards her cave humming as she walked.
"By the way my name's Brandon," the boy said, "What's your's?"
"As far as I know I don't have a name," the dragon girl said sadly, "I have never known who my parents were and no one else has ever called me anything but a monster. My mother or father might have named me before leaving me but I don't know what it is."
