"hmm.." Naraku said, "very interesting, indeed. I wonder if we can use the girl to our advantage." Kagura smiled, happy she finally had something to report to her master. He had sent her away month ago with the instructions to follow the Inu-tachi untill she learned something useful. Kargura was ecstatic to find that Kagome's discontent was worthy.

"I think I can break her and train her to be my minon. But is it worth the time?" Naraku thought aloud There was a long pause before Naraku spoke up again "Kagura," he demanded "Does the little mutt still love the priestess?"

Kagura reamin silent unsure of what to say. She wondered what her master had planned and also which answer would make him happier. She could feel him glaring at her, waiting for an answer. With a sharp, nervous intake of breath she answered;
