Lewis finds & buys a book on mermaids on the Internet.
He convinces them to help him make a wishing potion.
It ends up in a disaster with the book being destroyed.
Three questions occur:
1) If the book really was so valuable, why did it sell so cheap?
2) Assuming the book was a rare find why would anyone
in their right mind auction it off on the Internet without
having a very high minimum price that a High School
kid like Lewis could never afford? After all, it is shown
in other episodes that he doesn't have much money.
3) What if the book was mistakenly sold & the owner is
looking to retrieve it for his(her) rare book collection?
So one or more episodes are somewhat implied in the
way that this episode ends. This book could turn out to
be very important to the mermaids future and/or safety.
Since Season 3 and beyond(?) haven't been seen yet
it is advisable that all 3 choices occur shortly after the
girls have taken Charlotte's powers away & before any
thing from Season 3.
Depending on the direction and end of Season 3, after
it finishes maybe this whole storyline could be changed,
if it would make things more interesting for ALL of the
mermaids & other people from Season 3.
