The sun came through the windows, awakening Lauren from her slumber. It was a Friday morning, but the first time in a while, Lauren didn't have to get up and go to school.

The commencement celebration was the previous night. Lauren, now 18 years old, had graduated from high school. After all the trials and tribulations of the past year, she was thrilled to have made it through high school. She had the summer to herself, before heading off to college in the fall.

As everyone knows, time flies and soon it was time for...
