A dog tied up outside, all alone

Lauren is shocked. There, just outside the animal hospital, was a beautiful golden retriever tied to a post. The dog appeared to be whining. Lauren went over and petted the dog. She also poured some water out of a bottle she had and the dog quickly lapped it up.

"Who would do something like this?" Lauren asked.

"My owner works inside," stated the dog. "She doesn't like to leave me alone at home, she thinks I'll make a mess."

"Well, I'll just have to teach her a lesson." Lauren said as she walked into the animal hospital.

When Lauren enters, she finds out that the dog's owner is....
