Judy and Nick were walking around town, having had the day off from work. They continued walking around until they spotted a small quaint shop, they decided that with nothing else to do they walked inside.
“Hello!” Said the shop keeper. “I see that you are new to this store, hardly anyone comes in anymore! Well there’s nothing I can do about that, anyways you can browse around as much as you want. Just be careful for we have a very strict ‘you break it, you buy it’ policy. Let me know if you need help.”
“That’s very kind of you.” Said Judy. “We will let you know when we find something interesting.”
They walked around the store, they noticed that the shop was MUCH bigger than it looked from the outside. They shrugged this off and continued looking around all of the bazar, and cool things that were in the store. Nick was whistling when a small shimmer caught his eyes.
“What’s this?” He said picking it up examining it. “Looks like some weird guitar pick made of stone. Hey shop keeper what’s this?” He asked showing it to him.
“Well let me get my glasses and take a look.” He said putting his glasses on and looking at the stone thinking. “Ah, I see so you are the one who was foretold to find this.” He said confusing Nick even more. “This is the most powerful artifact that I have to offer.” He said. “It’s the only one of its kind, the infinite wishing stone!” He said with a grandiose smile.
“Okay.” Said Nick. “So how much is it? You got me intrigued, and if Judy was here for as long as I think she has, she is too.” He said pointing at Judy who was listening in on their conversation.
“Well seeing that both of you are good people, and not someone who would destroy the world. I’ll give you a fair price. The stone will be $10.00 please.” He said
“Well you weren’t lying about that price. I’ll take it!” Nick said handing ten dollars over. “Come on Judy, let’s go home so we can test it out!” He said yanking Judy and jogging to their apartment.
Okay I know that the first chapter is short, I promise that the next will be longer!
