It was 6:00 PM at the Interpol Labs and Carmelita Fox was growing impatient as a weapon was being made for her. "Is it done yet?" she asked impatiently, "I would like to go on patrol before sun rises." "Just a few more adjustments and it will be ready, Miss Fox." said one of the engineers. As soon as the last three wires were attracted, the engineers handed her a special badge-shaped weapon. "It's smaller than I imagined." she spoke. "But it will help you tremendously, Miss Fox. This weapon can fire a beam that help immobilize anyone who gets hit." said one of the engineers. "Perfect, and I know the perfect test subject for it." she spoke confidently. As soon as she was given the weapon, she immediately ran off. "Wait, Miss Fox. You don't know what it does!" yelled one of the engineers, but it was too late. The officer was already out of the door and on the street.
