EEEK HELP ME

by: The Swift Gale Author IconMail Icon
"Wha?" Krystal mutters in an exhausted tone as she starts to rubs the drowsiness from her tired eyes. After such a long night's rest, the blue vixen was beginning to think her mind was playing tricks on her. "What is this?" she says in a soft voice as she finally manages to open her eyes. At first she could've sworn the area she set camp on looked different, a lot smaller to be precise. As she slowly begins to rise upwards from her lying position, an odd object from above soon impacts her head. "Ouch." She groans before quickly raising her hand to caress her crown. "what was that?" she mutters as she opens one of her cringing eyes to gaze upwards.

As the blue vixen manages to stare upwards, she finally manages to catch sight of the culprit. To her surprise though, it was the least thing she'd expect. "W-Wha?" she mutters as both of her orbs grew in utter confusion. Mere feet above her head was what appeared to be a long thick tree branch, though not just any. Before Krystal set up camp deep in the forests of Fortuna, she made sure to detail the main stand outs of her surroundings. That way, in the case of getting lost, she could easily track her way back towards the teams meeting area. One main thing that stood out the most was a huge, oddly shaped branch attached to one of the old trees. The only problem with this was that the branch was dozens of yards above the ground.

"W-what on Dinosaur planet?" Krystal stammers as she quickly backs away from the wooden protrusion. Upon scooting back, the sounds of clanks and rummaging catch her pointed ears as she stares down besides her right foot. Messily adorned on the ground were a plethora of camping items, ranging from a canteen to even a disassembled tent, the same items that Krystal brought for the trip. "H-How?" Krystal stammers in a shaky, confused voice as she lowers her head to stare down at her now tiny equipment. Unsure if this was still some odd dream or mind trick, she slowly lifts up her canteen, which barely manages to fit in the grip of her thumb and index finger. As the metallic feeling of the canteen meets with her finger tips, she gasps before dropping the container and backing up against a tree's body.

"This isn't real..." Krystal stammers as her breathing begins to speed up from shock over her current state. "This isn't real..." she repeats while shaking her head, trying her hardest to dissuade the reality before her. "This is-" A sudden gasp escapes Krystal as her tail suddenly wags against one of the tree's, causing a flurry of avian's to ascend skywards. "This is....real..." She mutters in a nervous and uncertain tone, seeing how her fears we're indeed real. With a small whimper, Krystal huddles her knees close to her chest, unsure just how to deal with her sudden growth. "I need to do something." she mutters staring down at her camping ground with unease while slowly rocking back and forth.
