House in the woods

by: evil dude Author IconMail Icon
"...Fine,I don't like it,but I'll help, just promise me you won't do anything stupid, okay? We do this ritual and forget about it,deal?"They all agreed and decided to meet that night at Caleb's house in the woods.Well,Caleb might be a little creepy, but his house was nothing short of sinister. It was in great shape, but just felt...wrong somehow. The house was big enough for 10 people to live in,yet only Caleb and his parents lived there. The house was also located deep in the woods at least 3 miles from any other house. And finally, his parents owned a small graveyard that sat on the other side of the murky creek behind the house. They had all driven in Lucy's car and arrived at Calib's house at 9:42p.m.The night was still young, chilling winds were blowing decayed leaves in a macabre dance, the tall hollow trees seemed to reach towards the moonless black sky(and towards them),and the ground was soft with mud and decayed plants. The three stepped out of Lucy's car and walked up the long gravel driveway to Calibs house, being careful not too step on anything as it was to dark to see anything vary clear. They were all glad to have remembered their coats as the cold bit and stung their already rosie cheeks."Let's hurry up and meet with Calib so we can get this over with and go home."mumbled Lucy, who had her hood up and had her hands crossed over her chest."You shiverin from this fine october air,or are you scared?"Taunted Brian."Neither.Now shut up!"replied Lucy. They all walked up the steps on Calib's front porch and Lucy rang the doorbell while Heather and Brian sat down on the porch swing by the door. They hoped he would answer the door quickly,as the porch was eeriely lit by about half a dozen jack-o-lanturns.Now these arn't your normal kid friendly carved pumpkins, they all had twisted faces, glareing eyes, and grining mouths filled with uneven pointy teeth. They didn't notice the creepy pumpkins when they got out of Lucy's car,but now that they were up close, the pumpkins looked ready to bite.Lucy pushed the doorbell button again...
