As the blunette walked back to her room, she noticed an unopened box of pocky on her bed. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that pocky I bought today." Konata said as she then reminisced about her experinece earlier this day.
At around 4:30 on Sunday, Konata was walking around town looking for something to do since Kagami and Tsukasa had to go their family's shrine today and Miyuki had a fever. Carrying only about 2,000 yen or so, she unfortunately couldn't really buy anything she wanted that she hadn't bought already. As she came near the area area of stores where she bought her usual games and manga from, Konata saw a food stand that was selling several types of pocky, except there were at an astounding price of only 200 yen! ( a/n I'm not sure how much pocky is but I assume its not this low, so this what I'm putting it at,)
"Woah!" Konata shouted as she ran up to the stand. "Oh hello there! What can do I for you little girl?" the vendor said, who was a young woman in her early twenties. I'd like some of your pocky please miss!" Konata said drooling slightly from the mouth at the low price of such a sweet treat. "And by the way I'm eighteen." she staed to the vendor girl. "Ah! My apoligies miss!" the young woman said in regards to her assumption. "Well what kind you want?".
Konata then looked at the various flavors of pocky, chocolate, strawberry, almond. honey, kiwifruit mango, she even saw the regional flavors like grape, yūbari melon, giant mikan, powdered tea azuki bean, Kobe wine, and five-fusion berry, There were also flavors like banana, coffee, caramel, marble royal milk tea, melon, milk, honey and milk, choco banana, cream cheese, berry, sweet potato, coconut, crush, pineapple, pumpkin, hazelnut, black sesame, soy bean, marron, Brazilian pudding, mikan, blueberry, apple yogurt, and green tea. "So many flavors ahhh!" Konata said in bliss at just how many flavors of the treat there was at this stand.
"Hmm... I'll take two chocolates, one blueberry, three strawberries, one grape, two honeys, and... one green tea." "Okay miss!" The woman grabbed the boxes of pocky and gave them to the excited otaku. As Konata had given up all her remaining money she heard the woman say something to her, "Oh miss! be sure to... but unfortunately at that moment Konata had become too engrossed at the amount of pocky she had just obtained with such a small amount of money.
"Hmm, I wonder that vendor was going tell me, oh well I'll go tomorrow after school and ask her. Now to eat some of this pocky!", the otaku girl cheered to herself as opened the chocolate flavored pocky and began to eat it. As Konata had finished eating it the pocky had begun a strange effect on the girl. This chocolate pocky was... (a/n: heres some help for ya Conri! I hope this helps you get some ideas to continue the story!)
