Elenora or Elen for short was on her way from school. Rushing up to her room as she threw her backpack on her bed. She got her kendo suit and extra clothes along with her wooden katana blade and put them in her large backpack. Going downstairs she makes a couple of sandwiches, takes some candy bars and a liter of water and goes back to her room and places them in her bag. She needed them for the upcoming Kendo tournament.
"Anything else I forgot." Elen thought as she double checked her belongings. Just then she heard her mom voice.
"OH Elen! There's a package delivered to you. I put it on your study desk so check it before you go!" Her mother said. Elen looked at her study desk where the package was.
"Weird.. How come I didn't see this before..." She thought. Hoisting her backpack with her wooden sword. She examined the package. It had no return address but was addressed to her. She tore the cover off to see a strange tome of sorts. It was looked like a journal but it was gold engraved on the edges and had a large circular gem in the middle that was black. She could see her reflection a bit.
"Wow! This must be expensive... but who would send me this..?" She thought as she looked at it. Turning it to its side, at its back and back to its front.
"Can't tell if its a diary, story book, or whatever... Let's see inside!" Elen said as she opened the book and a bright light filled the room. Engulfing her with the book, it flashed taking her.
Elenora was unconscious as she laid there. Unknowingly where she was now and what event had occurred. She groaned as she slowly awoke. Her right hand grasping her head as she looked around.
