Suppressing her urge to treat Derek like a living doll, Stacey decided instead to help out the unfortunate boy. She gathered up all his clothes and put this in his school bag, as well as placing the school bag on her own back afterward.
"This is a heavy school bag", Stacey commented, somewhat struggling to hold both bags on her back. "What do you put in here?"
"All of my books", he said to the girl, who gasped in shock.
"ALL of them?! You don't go to your locker to change books??"
"Nope. This way I have more time to go to the school library. If I aim it just right, I can have as much as 30 minutes of free time during my lunch period."
"Doesn't that hurt your back?" Stacey wondered.
"Not really. I've been doing it all four years of high school", he said to her, looking confident.
And I thought you weren't very strong Stacey thought in her head. I've lifted weights lighter than this bag!
At Stacey's House
Stacey arrived at her house about 20 or so minutes later, taking 5 more minutes than usual due to the heavy school bag. When the two finally walked in the door, the first thing that she did was drop both bags on the carpet, feeling much lighter afterwards.
"I hope I never had to carry that school bag ever again!" Stacey said to herself.
Derek looked at his school bag while standing on his girlfriend's left shoulder. He never realized before just how heavy it looked. In fact, he had so many books in there, the zipper wouldn't close correctly! This meant that every time Stacey saw it unzipped, she had to attempt to zip it again. This is why it took her 5 more minutes than usual to get back to her house.
"Are you hungry, Derek? I am!" asked Stacey, licking her lips in anticipation.
Wow. They look even better than before Derek commented to himself, not noticing until now how being shrunk made Stacey's features (including her lips) stand out more. He also wasn't aware until now that she had a faint line of freckles dotting the area under her left and right eyes.
"Stacey, is anyone but you and me home right now?" Derek asked Stacey as she walked into the kitchen.
