Mary remembered her boyfriend Alex. Tomorrow they were both planning to go to the beach, tonight they had no plans, so Mary decided to spend the night testing her power before telling him in the morning. She got up and walked out of her office, everyone around her oblivious to her abilities. She tried her first move - Teleport to the car. She appeared in front of the steering wheel, buckled in and with the engine already started. "I'm a Goddess, I don't need a car" she thought and she had now teleported to her home. Her car parked in the driveway. "What else can I do?" and she had a sandwich in her hands. She even burned a hole in the wall by firing a laser from her fingers.
She spied her TV set and she made it bigger by a little bit and then she made it even bigger. It became so large it burst out of the house itself, sending rubble flying everywhere. She laughed nervously at the mayhem and instantly restored everything back to normal. Throughout the night she became more confident of her own powers, tuning them to better respond to her thought process and finally it was morning. She didn't need to sleep of course, she was now above such a notion. Mary listened to her cell phone ring and she made the phone float towards her. He spoke with some excitement "Hey Mary, you ready to go to the beach?" She smiled "I sure am Alex"
"Cool, do you want me to come over there and get you, Mary?" he offered. "That's okay Alex, I will come over and get you" she couldn't help but emit a slight giggle about this. "You alright there, Mary? Ah never mind I'm sure you have something important to tell me. Come right over whenever you're ready" he hung up and Mary now thought of the best way to approach him and show off her new found power.
