Private Lee groaned in agony as she woke up in the infirmary, she opened her eyes and she remembered what happened. She wondered what was going on, did she have any superpowers yet? Her body ached all over and then she calmed herself, mentally disciplined herself to try and tap into her powers. Suddenly she was now aware, the universe was before her, its entire contents available to be viewed. She was now aware of the doctors inside the lab and the personnel inside the base, where they were and what they were doing. She didn't read their minds now did she extend her awareness in great detail beyond the base.
She was now aware that she was restrained to the bed and then the General came into the room again "Ah, you're awake!" He said, surprised at her sudden recovery. He seemed to notice her restraints for the first time "Doctor, could you please remove her restraints, she appears not to be thrashing about any more" he said to another man in the room. "No need" Lee replied as she easily broke the restraints by moving her arms. She then got up and smiled "I now have superhuman strength" she said smoothly. The general was flabbergasted and amazed and then he asked her
