Continue growing along the way

Each step the Goddess took, the bigger she grew. By the time she reaches the city, she is at least 1000 feet tall, and still growing. She watches as the city is terrorized by her presence and create the destruction themselves.

People driving over each other, through parks, and down the wrong way on one way streets. Pouring out of buildings and into the streets they quickly become clogged with people and vehicles. The death count is already in the hundreds and the Goddess hasn't even laid a finger in the city.

As the Goddess stood there, still growing, her foot are stretching, collapsing the terrain around her feet. Some of the pathetic humans tried to drive straight towards her to escape from the expanding feet, but failed. Not even a minute passed and, the Goddess had grown to over 5000 feet tall. Her feet crushed several skyscrapers on the edge of city as she stood on the outskirts peering in.

(Edit: I jazzed it up a little bit)
