Sam read the directions for taking the pills that Dr. Rice had written out for him. He was only supposed to take one pill three times daily. Sam took just one pill now to make sure it worked. He figured that was just a guideline so he would take more later if they didn't work well enough.
Sam left the pills on his dresser after taking the one, and went out of his room to eat dinner. Brian, Greg and Zeke were all out there, and dinner was just a few minutes away. Brian was just finishing up his cooking.
"Hey, just on time for dinner Sam!" Brian said as Sam entered and sat down at the table.
The pills would take a bit to start working it seemed. Definitely not like his dream at all! Sam did feel that his shirt was tighter though.
"Dude, looks like you need to go up another shirt size again, " Zeke commented. "Looks like this one is going to rip soon!"
Sam smirked; it was working! He couldn't believe it. It really was working. And he was starting to feel famished! He wasn't really hungry when he came into the room. Now suddenly he needed to eat. A lot!
Sam polished off three bowls, leaving not much left over.
"Wow," Greg commented. "I've never seen you eat that much dude. You sure you're okay?"
"Yeah! I feel great!" Sam let out a loud belch as he polished off his last bowl. "Thanks Bri!"
Sam couldn't wait to take another pill. But he figured he should pace himself. It worked so far, but what would happen if it backfired somehow? Sam left the guys to clean up as usual. He wanted to check out his muscle growth in the mirror. He couldn't believe it! He was bigger already, his t-shirt straining on his frame now more than usual. He smirked and flexed in the mirror. Suddenly he noticed something happening...
