You flick the lights of your apartment on as you shut the door behind you. It's been a long day. First your boss decided to pick today to yell at you for a late report and for taking the last doughnut in the breakroom. You couldn't help it if you hadn't had breakfast that morning! After finally placating your boss and sifting through files and reports for hours, he'd finally let you go.
Then you were accosted by a few chatty co-workers who wouldn't stop talking about anything and everything. What the coolest clubs were, where to meet cute singles, and the best places to get in shape. It was as if your co-workers were obsessed with trying to get you a man. You finally managed to get them off your case and continue on your way. It's not that you're not interested in finding a nice guy, but you're just too busy right now. And besides, you may not be the slimmest girl in the office, but you're definately in shape. Any more exercise or dieting and you'd be a skeleton. Your co-workers never seem to notice these things.
Your carpool broke down so you had to walk back to your apartment and endure leering from construction workers, rude models walking their tiny dogs and a cab splashing water on you from this afternoon's rain shower. Now that you're finally home, you just want to take a nice bath and relax.
Which is why when you find a demon sitting on your couch, you really got upset.
