"Some time ago, you were like me. A retriever. You and I would collect objects of interest, merely because we possessed some of our own. They wanted us to find a particular artifact we couldn't uncover, and because of it, you had your memory completely wiped, and mine, only partially."
"Memory wiped? What are you talking about?! I don't even know you!!"
You throw aside Xetetras' hand, and cross your arms. Something in you produces tears, you're crying now!
"You do, you just can't remember it anymore. I'm not allowed to remember your name, just know your face... So, we're almost perfect strangers. But, we used to be closer than anything. I came not to call you back to that life, I came because I want you to join me. You're the only one I can trust, even if you don't remember our time together. This orb is proof enough that you're still who you are. You can use it, can't you?"
