“Look” you say, trying to appeal to the computer’s sympathy circuits, “If I retrieve the Star Nexus from the Dark Marshes of Doomsdunder and return it to the Space Academy, I’ll be a hero and automatically become a Space Ranger. It’s all I ever wanted to be!” Your eyes mist up and your voice cracks a little as you reminisce. “When I was a young boy growing up on the algae farms of Ag326 I used to watch ‘Tales of Galactic Patrol’ on the Tri-Dee. A couple of times during the 20 minute journey you attempt to query the computer, only to have the navigation screen flash the words ‘Can’t talk right now, busy navigating’ at you. At long last, you feel the un-mistakable sensation of being regurgitated (the one other distinctly unique experience of hyper-space travel that marks the end) and your trip is over.
