Chapter #7

Aim for Cooper

    by: Seuzz Author IconMail Icon
Sure enough, Dana sets up the study session for the municipal library at seven o'clock, and you make sure that Cooper knows about it. That seems good enough as a venue for grabbing Cooper, if he shows up, but as you think about it you decide there are some risks. There will be a number of other people at the session, which could make possessing Cooper there a little tricky; he might also show up late, when the maximum number of people have arrived. So shortly after school you call him on his cell phone and pretend that there's been a change in plans: Because of a last-minute thing with Kevin, the study session will be over at Kevin's house. If he shows up at six, though, he and the other early arrivals can get some burgers to go with the studying.

He takes the bait, and the promise of food ensures he appears on time. He's barely stepped out onto the Keighley's driveway when you crowd around him with Kevin and Matt, pinning him against his car, and shove a fistful of goo into his face; your screen of bodies keep anyone from watching as he sags into unconsciousness and then revives. You are sufficiently comfortable with the mechanics of working multiple bodies by this point that you feel no awkwardness as you call "Shotgun!" out of his mouth and walk him, grinning, around to the front passenger's-side door of Kevin's car. You run his body during the quick meal that follows at McDonald's, enjoying the feel of a strong body. Cooper is relatively short—only five-foot-seven—but built like a fire plug. He's on the school baseball team, and has the blonde, fresh-faced look often associated with "America's Pastime."

After you finish eating, you give him some fake memories to explain the change in routine, drop into his subconscious mind, and let him go off to the library with Kevin and Matt to join the others. It's a fun, productive session.

Monday evening at the Ryersons' is less fun. You returned home after school to find that Caleb's dad has arrived. His manner is grave, but whatever anger he feels about his son's behavior is well masked behind a veneer of concern and support. After a long consultation, during which you have to tell the story of Friday afternoon again, he sighs heavily. "We'll know more in a day or two," he says, "after I've talked to a lawyer. I suppose that, if they wanted to, they could try hitting at you pretty hard. But from you've said, I kind of doubt they can make anything stick except some trespassing charges. But we'll have to see."

It's all over by seven, and you're tempted to take Caleb over to the library to join the others, but you decide there is no point. Instead, you hide out in the bedroom, where you do Caleb's homework and also use his body to catch up on some work that Kevin and Matt have neglected. Thanks to your common control of their minds, you can mimic their handwriting perfectly.

During the night you are disappointed to learn that Cooper and Faye Griffin, though close, have not "gone all the way" yet. But you comfort yourself with the thought that you can get them there soon enough.

To get into Faye you've no plan fancier than to use a long and lingering kiss the next time you can get her alone with Cooper. Getting into Alyssa from Faye will be trickier. The next morning, though, you see an easy way of accomplishing it when Mrs. Hodgson outlines travel plans for the upcoming debate match in Fredericksburg. On Thursday she will be driving the debate team—Cooper, Faye, Alyssa, Geoff Dunholm, Eddie Wasnowski, and Hector Armjio—to Fredericksburg, where they will spend the night before the meet on Friday. They'll spend Friday night there too, and then the team will return to Saratoga Falls on Saturday. She gives hotel room assignments: naturally, Faye and Alyssa will share a room.

"Shit, that means what, a week before we get into Becky?" You curse again and glare at Cooper, who just grins back. "I notice you're sitting pretty, asshole."

"Well, not yet," you smirk. "But just wait 'til Faye and me get together after school."

It's lunch time, which Cooper and Faye are unlucky enough not to share. He, Kevin and Caleb are standing outside; Matt is in class. Normally the ball player would be in the cafeteria with other jocks, but you felt like gloating.

"You gonna share her? C'mon, be a team player," you plead.

You roll your tongue around in your mouth and grin. "We'll see."

You go back to admiring the passing parade of female flesh. The anticipation of getting Faye and Alyssa and Becky—or of getting anyone—hurts, but it's a pleasurable kind of hurt. Kevin in particular has always felt his cock straining at the sight good-looking girls, and you feel that pull from inside him. But after his behavior over the weekend, you are taking a certain amount of sadistic pleasure in teasing him—even though you are, actually, only teasing yourself.

You are soon lost in a reverie, one that is suddenly interrupted by a rude but familiar voice. "Keep your eyes to yourself, you asswipes."

It's Zach Vanderburg, soccer goalie and bully. Apparently he was passing by and noticed you ogling the girls. He is now glaring at you with hooded, sneering malice.

"Leave 'em alone, Zach," you say, folding Cooper's muscular arms and leaning against the wall.

His eyes shift toward Cooper. "Why are you hanging with losers?"

"We were talking about the mid-term in Cussler's. You know, some of us do take serious classes, Vanderburg." Zach's jaw tightens a little. "Anyway, I guess we all got a little distracted."

You hold his eye for a moment, and then he looks back over at Caleb and Kevin. "It makes me sick to think that guys like you have fantasies. But that's all you'll ever have." He walks away.

"Now that's someone who'd be worth fucking with," you observe to no one in particular.

You seek Faye out after sixth period, and find her in the hall giggling with Alyssa. The latter shoots you a bright-eyed glance as you come up, then excuses herself—undoubtedly off to spread some gossip. She's the prime purveyor at school.

"You got plans?" you ask Faye, slipping an arm around her.

"Oh, have I." She gives you a quick smack on the lips. "Walk with me to my car."

It's a pleasure to do so, of course. When you're still traversing the lot, she squeezes you a little more tightly. "So, Alyssa and I were talking about the debate trip."

"What kind of girl talk is that?"

"Well, she was wondering if you'd be willing to swap rooms with her when we get there. You know, secretly."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you know, she's been chasing Geoff. So, on this trip, after Hodgson's turned in, you and she swap beds so she can get close to him."

Lucky Geoff. "So, how do I explain the swap to Dunholm?"

She sighs through her nose. "You tell him that it's you and me who want to get together, and that Alyssa volunteered to move," she says patiently.

Enlightenment breaks. "Ooooohhhh!" You pull her a little closer. "So, what exactly are your plans for you and me?"

"Make the swap on Thursday night, and I'll show you then, silly."

"Can I at least get a hint?" You're at her car by now, so you turn her around and kiss her deeply. She's highly receptive, and doesn't even choke as a blue worm slips easily down her throat. You hold her tightly until you've recovered consciousness for her.

"Mmmm." You lightly run a slim finger up Cooper's thigh. "Maybe more than a hint, soon, if you're good?"

Faye isn't the most gorgeous girl in school, but she's a fine catch in her own right. She has a magnificent pair of breasts, for one thing, and you take a long and lingering delight in playing with them in the shower the next morning. You give some thought to pairing her with Caleb or Kevin before giving her to Cooper on Thursday night, but decide to save her.

As for Cooper himself: You only took him as a conduit to get to Faye and thence to Alyssa and to Becky. But your chance encounter with Zach has reminded you that he can be a good ally. This will be his last full day of the week at the school, though, and you ponder the possible uses you could put him to.

You might anticipate Thursday night be borrowing one of the keys to the second-floor janitorial closet that quietly circulate in the school, and going there with Faye and Cooper. Second period would be the only time in the day it would be safe to do that, though: Faye can afford to skip her civics class, and it is Cooper's free period. But you might find another use for that period. That's the hour he usually goes up into the gym loft to work with the free weights, and he often runs into Vanderburg up there. Possessing that bully would give you a playmate at the school while Cooper and Faye were entertaining each other out of town.

You have the following choices:

1. Go have fun with Cooper and Faye

2. Possess Zach Vanderburg
