Then you figured out, "I could run to their feet and try to take their attention screaming while you are reaching it, and if they don't notice me while I'm running I can climb their feet and then wait to be felt" you think and start running as fast as you can while screaming.
"HEY DOWN HERE, HERE" you are too tiny to be listen and the mantis is getting near, but you two are near the foot too, so you are start creating hopes, but suddenly the mantis jump and appears in front of you.
The girls still talking, you can't hear exactly what they say because you are too scared so you just scream as loud as you can.
