They quickly arrived at the castle and and approached the gate. "I bet I'll need to use the extra ten rupees that I brought to get us in." Link whispered to Saria. "Give him a chance, Link. You have no proof that he's lying." Saria countered. They arrived at the front gate and when the guard caught sight of Kiron, his eyes widened. "Prince Kiron," Link's jaw dropped when the guard said this, "What are you doing outside of the castle? You know your father doesn't like you sneaking out." the guard seemed angry but kept the necessary amount of respect in his voice to prevent him from loosing his job. "I know, but it can be so boring sometimes being on castle grounds all day." "Tell me about it." The guard muttered under his breath. Kiron either didn't hear it or ignored it. "I've brought some friends with me. May I bring them in?" Kiron asked though he really didn't have to. "Of course, but your friend in the hat has to remove his weapons." "Actually, he's going to fence with me and teach me some sword techniques." Kiron said, though it sounded like it was intended to be a command. "Very well, but I'll be watching him." the guard said, this time the anger in his voice more obvious.
They walked past the rest of the guards with little or no conversation. They arrived in the center of the castle and Kiron asked "Where do you want to go?" Link was the first to respond, "Well first I want to let Zelda know I'm here and secondly, I want to apologize for not believing you." "Apology accepted. You know where Zelda's room is right?" "Yeah, I know. Just let me know where you will be so I can find you later." Link knew that he probably wouldn't because he hadn't talked to Zelda in a while and he had a lot to talk about. "We'll be in my room, west wing, third door on the right." "OK, bye. Oh, Saria, don't forget we have to leave at sundown or we will miss the Deku Tree Sprout's birthday." Link said "Don't worry, I won't forget." Saria said. They split up and each went opposite ways through the many halls of
Hyrule Castle.
