Dawn fondles the sleek casing of the gun in her pocket. 'I needed to test it anyway..,' she thought, 'and now's as good a time as ever.' With no one around to see, she pulled out the weapon which was tipped with a crystal shaft, like a wand of some sort. Pushing a button on the handle, she zapped Bobby in the back with a ray of light.

At first Bobby thought he had tripped and fallen, then he realized he was still standing and yet everything around him was getting taller. He felt his jersey loosening around him and his pads slipping from his dwindling muscles. "What's happening?!" he heard his own voice squeek like a preadolescent. Then a second later, Bobby's head submerged under the neckline of his shirt and he found himself struggling in the darkness with his own clothes. Then came the foot steps, literally shaking the ground beneath him. He imagined a passer by and screamed, "hey I'm under here, let me out." As the footsteps grew even louder he braced himself preparing to be stepped on, but suddenly they stopped. A moment later a wash of light blinded Bobby as his jersey was pulled back. He blinked up into the giant, acne-pocked face of the girl whom he'd just given the brush off. Instinctively he scrambled backward, the size of her face meant he was no bigger than a mouse. Before he could escape however titanic fingers with chipped nail polish curled about him, siezing him with rib cracking force.
