Gynox Women's Prison was, like so many, a privately owned facility. What was unique, however, is the fact that the owner of the prison, Morden Gynox, was richer than both Koch brothers and twice as corrupt, having bribed or blackmailed every official and reporter and media personality in a two-hundred mile radius of his prison into working for him. Gynox himself did everything he could to stay out of the media, making sure that nobody ever took interest in his prison.
It helped keep the heavily obese Gynox's diet of women a secret, the trillionare having paid to have his body modified to be capable of swallowing women whole.
And as for his prison, it was filled with like-minded men and women, all of whom had the same ability Gynox had. The prison itself did contain real criminals, but many were just women that those loyal to Gynox took interest in and framed. The guards were all plump, greedy, and evil, although the female guards weren't safe from being eaten themselves. The position of warden had changed several times, but there was always one constant.
Kenneth Braugh, the guard captain. No one questioned him. Men that did were released into the general population and torn apart by the women (which is why the warden position had such high turnover). Women ended up becoming inches on his waistline. A large, beefy black man, he is both a powerful fighter and a brilliant strategist. He can recognize rabble rousers in the prison and always knows how to seduce them into dropping their guard long enough to be eaten.
He's also practical enough to know that sometimes he may have missed something. He takes the Evil Overlord List seriously and insists the guards apply it to the prison, although he recognizes that nothing lasts forever and is constantly watching for signs he needs to leave.
For now, though, while he does keep watch, he also intends to enjoy himself and his endless buffet as much as possible.
