Louis Walton was a nerd. The skinny, under-muscled, glasses-wearing, black-haired and brown-eyed teen was an otaku with a large collection of anime, video games, and cartoons and a collection of body pillows featuring his favorite girls from said games, cartoons, and animes. His favorite animes were harem comedies, and he was generally a nice, intelligent kid.
He just had absolutely no luck with girls.
Every time he tried to talk to one, he ended up stammering in fear and running away. This happened even with female teachers. The crueler girls in school had picked up on this and teased him ruthlessly, insulting his tastes. He had a couple friends (including, surprisingly, the college's alpha male jock) that he could talk about his interests with, but for the most part, he barely talked to anyone. His interaction with women was limited to just fantasy.
Louis's fantasies, however, tended towards the strange. For example, he was a voraphile, with a particular kink of enjoying pics and stories of women being eaten. By humans, by creatures, by abominations, if it involved a beautiful female getting turned into food, then he loved it. He had developed a fursona, that of af handsome, predatory wolfman, and had bought several commissions of him eating his favorite fictional characters.
It was frustrating. He just wanted to talk to women, to share something intimate with them. But he knew that his deviant kinks wouldn't net him any friends. He couldn't even talk to his two buddies about it. College was a pain, his parents didn't understand his interests, his younger sisters were brats... he knew he didn't have it as bad as some, but he was frustrated nevertheless.
"Sometimes," he said to himself while walking home one day, "I just wish life could be more fun."
"Well if you insist," said a voice from behind him. Louis turned, and for the weirdest moment he thought he saw someone that looked like the Tom Hiddleston version of Loki. The man snapped his fingers, Louis blinded by a sudden white light. The man was gone. Staggering, Louis went home, wondering what happened. The rest of the day passed without incident, and he went to bed.
He had no idea how his life was about to change...
