Kirby bounced around happily, ready to fight. It loved a good clean battle, especially with all its friends. He didn't even mind fighting his enemies, 'cause fighting was fun and everyone here was tasty. He loved eating much more than fighting, which was why he incorporated his favorite thing to do into his fighting style. Besides, he was fighting Krystal today! And she tasted like mint to Kirby's tongue, a flavor he loved. (Granted, he loved all flavors except for anything that tasted like bodily functions, but that's another story entirely.)
Krystal twirled her staff and sighed, silently grateful that getting digested by Kirby was quick and even without the Restore magic Master Hand set up, she would come back anyway... Oh, she had defeated Kirby before, sometimes with great ease, but getting eaten by a marshmellow half her size was just unnerving...

Shadow Moses Island...

Yoshi churred softly, looking curiously at his new opponent. He tried to ignore the scary rumblings of the Metal Gear tanks in the background, and watched as the sexy, dark-skinned racer, Kate Alen, prepared to fight him. She adjusted the red bikini-bottoms of her outfit and did a few practice kicks. Yoshi supposed that she was sexy, what with her long legs, ample bosom and rear, as well as her skintight, revealing outfit.
But his standards of appealing were yoshisaurus, not human. So he couldn't really tell one way or another.
At any rate, this was just a sparring match, with no real stakes involved, so the two of them could take their time. Yoshi even thought about holding her in his stomach for a while, letting her wriggle around, before digesting her and putting her in an egg. He never got to do that in the official matches...

Bowser's Castle...

Bowser grumbled.
He hated this place. He hated the fact that the Princesses were becoming stronger each day, that despite all his gains in powers and allies, he could never get ahead.
He wanted revenge. He wanted to sulk and eat something.
Bowser looked at the monitor, watching Peach, Daisy, Zelda, and Samus battle with each other. He grinned.
"Maybe I can get both done..."
