Cynder began moving in an S shape to propel herself through the water. Her movements rapidly sped up when she saw Spyro unconcious. It looked like he had dived straight onto an underwater cliff. After reaching his body, Cynder approached the nearby surface. As their heads came up, Cynder used her wind powers to allow her to take flight despite just being half in the water.
Spyro openned his eyes slowly, his surroundings slowly coming into focus. He felt some one nuzzle him affectionately and knew it was Cynder. "Hey Cyn," he greeted as he returned the nuzzling with just as much (if not more) affection.
"Spyro," she said, her voice choking, tears coming from her eyes, "I was so afraid, I thought you weren't going to wake up," she sobbed into his neck.
"Cyn, I would never leave you," he replied, gently stroking the back of her neck.
"Spyro, you were unconcious for 2 days!" She said. "Don't you ever scare me like that again!" she added, playfully slapping him, "I don't know what I'd do without you. That reminds me. Spyro, when we were facing Malefor, and I was taken over, you said you have nothing to fight for, why?"
"I meant what I said Cynder, you're what keeps me going. Now it's my turn for a question, in the core you told me you loved me," said Spyro.
"And I meant it Spyro," she replied.
"That makes me so happy Cyn," he replied with a smile, "I love you too."
