"How about we gather leafs from the thicket over there?"
Cynder asked and pointed her tail toward the north from the camp, shortly after Spyro's gaze wandered over the place which she had pointed out. Near the border of trees, laid vast amount of bushes, very close to them and perfect for their purposes of making a soft bed out of them
"Nice! Well Spotted"
Spyro praised Cynder and her perception ability, making her smile as it felt good how it was him who appreciated her ability
"Hey, let's race over there! the loser have to carry all the leafs over the camp!"
Cynder laughed and dashed forward with out even waiting a reply from Spyro, who instantly protested
"Hey! Thats cheating!"
Regardless, he quickly ran after laughing black dragoness

"Ha! It's my win!"
Cynder boldly stated to Spyro who had not been able to catch up with her because of the late start.
But when Cynder turned her body around and was about to reveal a wide smirk to Spyro who surely would start complaining, she noticed he wasn't looking at her way, rather his eyes were focused on above and behind her. Slowly Cynder followed Spyro's line of sight, and what came in view was a head of a hawk which peeked out from the thicket. A sound of snapping branches and shaking leafs made both dragons back away as the creature with a bird like head pushed itself trough the undergrowth and revealed it's full form.
Standing before them, a creature clad in a light blue feathers, 4 legs supporting it's tailless frame, a bird head with a sharp beak and an intelligent look in it's eyes, let out a shriek which shook the air
"No way! A gryphon?!" It wasn't sure which dragon uttered such words but both of them felt agitated after sudden appearance of a threat which was't just taller than them but who also was.....
