Kweli, 9 year old anthro lion.
Unusually for his species, as lions are known for their strength, Kweli is quite thin and bony. Though his rather thick, brown fur does a good job of hiding how skinny he is, it is still possible to see his ribs, and he generally looks as though he would be blown over by a stiff breeze. His parents believe that he takes after his mother, who is lithe herself, while his older brothers take after their father, who has a much more traditional, heavyset leonine build. Despite assurances from his mother that he will have a growth spurt eventually, Kweli has always felt slightly jealous of his brothers, and resents his lack of size, though is generally a friendly and pleasant little anthro. Kweli's father signed him up for the school athletics team, but that did no good for his insecurities, although it was temporarily alleviated by winning third place in the county's 200 metre finals. Kweli still wants to bulk up, and may turn to other methods in order to manage it.
Chris, 7 year old anthro skunk.
Being a skunk, and having the natural tendency to smell, Chris has never had it easy when it comes to the other kids at school, always being teased for stinking up the place. However, the teachers at his school prefer him to his classmates, as the shy mustelid is perhaps the most mature student in his class, always offering to answer problems on the board and being a well-bahaved pupil, plus he has manages to find a paw-ful of friends who share his love of books and having quiet fun; in other words, his fellow nerds. Chris enjoys nothing more than spending a peaceful afternoon in his room, curled up on his bed and reading the next lastest fantasy book, often with a cupcake and amug of cocoa, and these little titbits are beginning to have an effect on the skunk's body. Over the last few months, Chris has been growing a little bit of a belly, with the white area of fur on his tummy changing shape accordingly.
