Chapter #3Backyard fox by: k It was winter, a really cold one as a matter of fact.
I was doing some house cleaning when I spotted something moving on my backyard.
-Aww, It's a fox! If I'm fast I might get a cool photo! I grabbed my phone and opened the camera app to take a picture, but I noticed something.
- Oh, this poor guy looks sick! I can see his ribs on the photo!
The fox was really malnourished, and more than walking he was slowly wandering, probably desesperately looking for something to eat.
- He looks really bad, I must throw him something to eat, If I don't, he is going to die! I thought as I went to the kitchen to grab some leftover meat I had on the fridge.
I left a plate with the meat on the back door and closed it, not making any sound as to not scare him and waited.
The fox smelt it and went searching for the sweet aroma of meat.
As he got close to the door I was looking trought I saw the true state of the fox, he was really unhealthy, as if his last meal had been weeks from now.
-Oh my god, poor guy, I need to help him! I might have some more food that I can give him, but what do foxes even eat??
While I was searching online the foods that foxes eat, he devoured the entire plate of meat in seconds, not that there was a lot of meat but still, It was clear that he was hungry.
- Don't worry little guy, There's more coming! I found online that they eat almost all types of meat, so I grabbed a chicken breast I had on the fridge, but as I opened the door I scared the little fox and he left running.
-Aww, I scared him! Well, I'll leave this outside and maybe he comes back and eats it
